New Project with singer Dorota Barova : vertigo_nova.mp3

                                           VERTIGO QUINTET

began in 2002 as an independent project of musicians who wish to make their own music their own way. Since then Vertigo Quintet found its unique sound made up of five distinct individual voices. The repertoir consists of originals composed by all members of the group. Vertigo Quintet received the "Best Jazz CD of 2005" Award  from the Czech Popular Music Academy for its first eponymous CD (2005) released on the AMPLION label. The second CD "Live U stare pani" (2006) marks the band's tendency to experiment with various musical guests such as the singer Lenka Dusilova and Vladan Malinjak string quartet. Lately the band has been working with the violoncello/singer duo Tara Fuki.
